The VFO-62 contained a regulated power supply and had provisions for crystal control. In addition to scales for 6 and 2 meters, the VFO’s dial was also calibrated for its 8.33–9 and 8–8.33 MHz output ranges. A 6BH8 triode-pentode served as both an oscillator and cathode follower.
