The Olson Six was one of the few pieces of ham gear sold by the electronics retailer. The Six (model RA-570) was made by Utica Communications and appears identical to that company's 650 model. The transceiver tuned from 50-52 MHz and its power supply operated from 117 VAC and 12 VDC sources. Its receiver was a double-conversion superhet. The 15 watt AM transmitter used a 2E26 in a Class C final.
