Note
The Palstar AT2K is an upgraded version of the AT-1500CV. Improvements include better power handling, enhanced metering (a built-in PM2000A watt meter), and the addition of the 6 meter band.
Features
– Circuit Design: It uses a T-type impedance matching circuit configuration.
– Inductor: Features a precision 18 µH continuously variable ceramic roller inductor with a silver-plated wheel and shaft.
– Frequency Coverage: It covers 1.8 MHz to 54 MHz. It includes a relay-switched add-on inductor specifically for 160-meter operation and is compact enough for 6-meter use.
– Metering: Includes a dual-movement cross-needle meter that displays forward and reflected power, along with SWR. It features an upgraded PEAK and PEAK HOLD function.
– Tuning Controls: Precision tuning is achieved through 6:1 ratio Vernier dials for input and output capacitors, while a crank handle with a mechanical counter facilitates coarse inductor adjustments.
