The Palstar DL-150M is a dry RF dummy load designed for testing and tuning transmitters and amplifiers. Unlike traditional oil-cooled dummy loads, it utilizes ceramic resistive thick film components to achieve stable temperature control and robust power handling without the mess.
The unit is designated as an "Auto-Cool" system featuring dual 240 cfm fans. These fans are thermostatically controlled, automatically kicking on once internal temperatures reach 45°C to prevent component burn-out while remaining completely silent when the unit is cool.

– Controls: Includes a `LAMP` switch for meter illumination, an analog meter – `ZERO` adjustment screw, and a red push-button `POWER RANGE` toggle.

– Thermal Derating: Max power output is maintained up to a heat sink temperature of 100°C. Power handling capabilities drop by 50% at 125°C and derate entirely (100% lower) at 150°C.
