Pickering advertised its Micro-Ultimatic K-1 as the first IC electronic keyer. It operated in either the conventional or squeeze keying modes. The K-1’s linear speed control had a range of 10–60 wpm. The monitor was built-in, and either relay or transistor outputs were offered as options.
