In the Nov 1957 issue of QST (p. 149) appeared an ad for the KE-93 reading "New, improved!" But the ad does not say specifically in what way it has been made better.
The Pierson KE-93 receiver and its KE-93 110 VAC power supply were manufactured by Automation Electronics of Burbank, California. The power-supply cabinet also contained a speaker and an S-meter for the receiver.
