The Auto-Level helped increase the average output power of an AM or SSB signal. It was not a clipper-compressor, but used a fast-acting photosensitive resistor to electronically regulate the input signal with a minimum of distortion. Raytrack claimed a minimum of 20 dB audio compression. The unit had an internal 115 VAC supply.
