The Regency HR-312 had more channels, more sensitivity, more selectivity, and greater power output than its 2 meter predecessors. Its 12 crystal channels were normally selected in dedicated pairs, but an "unlock" switch enabled independent selection, giving a total of 144 different frequency combinations. Power output was 35 watts.
