Note
QST, May 1951, p. 117.
The RME-50 used the basic circuitry of the RME-458, substituting miniature tubes for loctals used in the older receiver. It also used a 6V6 in the audio output stage, a VR-150 voltage regulator, and a 5Y3 rectifier. The 12-tube set came with RME's NBF4 NBFM adapter installed. Frequency coverage was 0.54-33 MHz in six bands; $197.50 (including speaker).
