The six-tube, nine-band RME-69 was the company’s most popular receiver model. Included were a noise limiter, an R-meter (S-meter), and an on-air monitor circuit. RME called the model 69 a single-signal super, referring to the crystal filters ability to reject an incoming signal on one side of zero beat. Main tuning and electrical band-spread dials covered 0.55–32 MHz. The RME-69 acquitted itself well in performance tests with other leading receivers of the day.
The RME 69 and the DB-20 were offered in the same cabinet for a while.
