The DM-36 was a 5 and 10 meter converter designed to be used with the RME-70 receiver. It extended the companion receiver’s coverage to 5 meters and gave improved performance and image rejection on 10 meters. The converter’s output frequency was 10 MHz. The DM-36 pictured is a stand-alone unit; it also was available built into an expanded RME-70 cabinet.
The DM-36A is the same but is designed for use with an AM broadcast radio.
