The RME 4300 was a 160–10 meters, ham-band-only receiver. In the RME tradition, it used two-speed tuning with concentric knobs. The single-conversion set had a crystal filter and adjustable BFO injection.
Use a two-speed tuning mechanism that provides 75:1 and 1:1 tuning ratio, and injection control of the BFO. Four steps of selectivity. IF curve is 2.8 kHz wide without crystal filter, attenuation 60 db down at 7 kHz above or below tuned frequency. Crystal filter has phasing control for variable rejection of adjacent signals. Sensitivity is 2.0 µV for 10 db signal-to-noise ratio. Features ANL, BFO, antenna trimmer, and two coaxial jacks for SSB adapter. Requires external 4Ω speaker.
Power: 120 VAC
