QST, Oct 1947, p. 159. Walter Ashe catalog, 1954, p. 5. The MB-3 Boomerang was a monitoring device for CW and phone signals. It silenced the receiver while the transmitter was keyed and incoming signals could be heard between characters on CW. The MB-3 plugged into the receiver’s phone jack and had an internal AC supply.
