Regular model: 15–550 meters.
Marine model: 15–1500 meters.
Sargent’s eight-tube receiver tuned from .55–21 MHz in four bands with main and band-spread tuning across the range. A special marine version of the 8-34, with coverage down to 200 kHz, was also offered.
The band-switching preselector matched E. M. Sargent’s 8-34 receiver and improved the set’s performance on the higher frequencies.
