The Simpson Model B was likely an amateur band adaptation of one of the company’s VHF FM marine transceivers. Its 12 crystal-controlled channels were selected with pushbuttons. Power output on 2 meters was 25 watts.
Note that Simpson Electronics is not the same as Simpson Electric (maker of the model 260 VOM, et al).
