Matches the Swan 600R.
The "Swan Twins."
Even though they made their mark with transceivers, Swan Engineering introduced a matching transmitter and receiver pair in 1971. The 600-T was rated at 600 watts PEP input on sideband, 500 watts on CW, and 150 watts on AM. Its VFO tuned each of the bands from 80–15 meters in 200 kHz segments. The 10 meter band was covered in 500 kHz segments. It used grid-block keying on CW and fed a sidetone to the receiver. The VX-2 VOX accessory was necessary for semi-break-in CW operation. The final amplifier was a pair of 6KD6s.
