The Swan Mark II linear amplifier ran 2000 watts PEP input on SSB and 1000 watts on AM and CW. It used a pair of 3-400Z triodes in grounded-grid. The 80–10 meter amplifier required an external power supply ($235.00 extra).
This is probably the amplifier Swan referred to as the "Powerhouse Mark II" in a QST ad in the Jan 1970 issue, page 121.
