The ST-1 antenna tuner handled 3 KW PEP and provided 50 ohm matching from 1.7 to 30 MHz. It also had a 4:1 balun and connectors for balanced transmission lines. The ST-1 lacked a built-in SWR bridge and watt meter. Swan’s ST-2 tuner offered those features.
