The TR-20/50 used a 6360 Class C final plate modulated by a pair of 6AQ5s in Class A. The final operated straight through on 6 meters at 20-25 watts input. It had an RF bridge circuit and rectifier for monitoring output, and a speech amplifier and modulator. The TR-20/144 model added a buffer/multiplier stage for operation on 2 meters, and the TR-20/220 covered 1-1/4 meters. All transmitters in the TR-20 series came complete with tubes and crystal.
