The GSB-1 SSB adapter was a filter-type slicer made to match TMC’s GPR-90 receiver. It could be used with other receivers with a 455 kHz IF. The GSB-1 converted the IF signal down to 17 kHz. It had an upper/lower side-band tuning range of +/– 3 kHz and AVC and noise-limiter circuits.
