General Notes

Note

Ham Radio, Dec 1972, p. 1. Ham Radio, Jan 1973, p. 1. The TBL-2000 is a 1600 watt PEP linear amplifier with self-contained AC power supply and built·in RF wattmeter, weighing just 18 pounds. The amp uses five 6LF6 power pentodes, each with its own side-panel mounted bias potentiometer. The amp provides a full kilowatt CW and 1600 watts PEP SSB on 160 through 10 meters, including MARS. The shielded illuminated meter monitors eleven different functions including cathodes current for each tube, the total plate current, B+ voltage, RF watts. Includes a two position tilt stand. Input power: 1000 watts CW, 1600 watts PEP, 700 watts RTTY and SSTV Antenna: 50/70 ohms nominally. SWR not to exceed 2:1 Meter functions: 0–200 mA each tube, 0–2 amps total plate current, 0–2 KV high voltage, 0–200 mA screen current, 0–2mA grid current, 0–1000W forward & reflected power. TBL-2000, 240 VAC, 8 amps TBL-2000X, 120/240 VAC, 15 amps / 8 amps
