General Notes

Note

CQ, Mar 1963, p. 20. QST, Jun 1963, p. 118. QST, Jun 1965, p. 184. (misstated as 344) QST, Jun 1966, p. 168. QST, Mar 1968, p. 114. (334A) QST, Dec 1976, p. 157. "A" version: QST, Sep 1967, p. 129. Probably available way before this. After 1970, this was sold under the Barker & Williamson (B&W) label. The Waters Model 334 Dummy Load/Wattmeter was identical to the instrument sold later by Barker & Williamson. Many Waters products reappeared with B & W’s name after they bought the Waters company. The 334 was a 52 ohm dummy load that worked up to 230 MHz. Its power meter had 10, 100, and 1000 watt scales. A warning lamp illuminated when the dummy load overheated.
