The Globe Scout 65 provided an increase in power over its Globe Scout 40 predecessor with no in-crease in price. It covered 160–10 meters and had a pi-net output. Power input to the 6146 final was 65 watts CW, 50 watts AM phone.
he Globe Scout 65-A was similar to the 65. It had band-switching coverage of 160–10 meters, with 65 watts input on CW and 50 watts AM. The 65-A incorporated small improvements in the switching and metering circuits. The price remained the same.
The B model continued the Globe Scout 65 series with little change in hardware, performance, and appearance, and none in price.
