This is probably the second in a series of what WRL called Comet Kits. The first Comet kit was the SS-3 Q-multiplier.
Note that it is WRL, not Globe.
World Radio Labs touted its 6 meter transceiver as the "World's Smallest." It measured 5" x 9-1 /4" x 6" and weighed 5 lbs. The superhet receiver tuned from 48-54 MHz, and the 5 watt AM transmitter used 8 MHz crystals. A separate power supply was required. The TC-6A replaced the TC-6, a similar 1 watt model.
