Members of the Mackenzie crew, 97 SquadronContext
There are two copies of this photograph, on the back of one of which is written L-R, "Bob, Glyn, Tony, Keith". These were Robert Marshall, Ivor Glyn Stephens, Anthony Hunter, amd Keith Kirby who was often known as 'Ken'. Two of these men were critically injured in the Mackenzie crash on 17 December 1943, Keith Kirby suffering a broken back and Bob Marshall serious injuries which grounded him permanently. Ivor Glyn Stephens was not flying that night. Tony Hunter received slight injuries.Collection
