L-R: Wilson Kirkwood, Nancy Hay (Margret's sister), James, Margret (nee Hay), Cochran Kirkwood, Margaret Kirkwood (James's sister). The twins, Cochrane and Wilson Kirkwood, both went on to serve in the RAF and survived the war. Their older brother James died on 17 December 1943.
