Paul David, RCAF, bomb aimer, 97 Squadron. Telegram from RCAF Casualties Officer.

Context

Telegram, 21 September 1943, to Paul David's father, Euclide David. Although the Red Cross had received information from the Germans that Paul David had been killed, it is advised that he is considered "Missing, believed killed" until further confirmation. Paul David and his crew had not returned from their bombing operation of 22/23 June 1943 against Mulheim. Donated by Claude David.
