Ernest Naldrett, older brother of Henry Naldrett, when training in South Africa, 1942. The writing on the back of the photograph gives the location as Viljoenskroon, which was in Free State. The fact that he is standing with Mrs Mosford, a VAD, suggests he might have been hospitalised at some point in his time in South Africa. Ernest went on to serve as a bomb aimer on 15 Squadron at RAF Mildenhall. He survived the war. Donated by Owen White and Catlin LLP Solicitors on behalf of the Naldrett family.Collection
