In 1930, the Ford Model A received some new features: wider fenders, a deep radiator shell, and the elimination of the cowl stanchion. More options that year were an external sun-visor, a rear luggage rack, a rear-view mirror, and a spare tire rack. Additionally, Model As were the first to include safety glass in the windshield.
