Description

This box contains 24 unused original Crayola Drawing Crayons. Crayola was originally the Binney and Smith Company. In 1903 co-founder Edwin Binney and wife, Alice Binney, produced the first Crayola wax crayons. Alice coined the name "crayola" from the French "craie" for "chalk" and ola for "oleaginous" or "oily." The Rubens line, was marketed towards artists to compete with Europe's Raphael line of crayons.
