1967 Dodge Coronet R/T ConvertibleDescription
This 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible was a popular, high-performance muscle car. Customers had a choice between two engines, the 440 Magnum and 426 Hemi. The museum's Coronet has the former. The basic transmission for this car was a three-speed automatic, although a four-speed stick was available.
Additionally, customers could choose between a hardtop and convertible. Some more features include four-barrel carburetor, free-flowing dual exhaust, chrome valve covers, and a wheelbase of 119". Vinyl bucket seats, a center console, and a fixed center cushion with a pulldown armrest were standard features of the interior.
This particular Coronet was initially purchased from Silver’s Garage in Presque Isle, Maine, and later found its way to St. Louis, Missouri. Years later it was brought to Boothbay, Maine, under new ownership.Motor Vehicle Type
