Description

This 1931 Pontiac Sport Coupe was donated to become part of the museum's core collection and has been a national Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Senior Award winner. The award acknowledges that the car is an exceptionally accurate restoration, all the way down to the wiring and fastening. This two-door coupe is equipped with a six-cylinder engine that produces 60 hp and can fit up to four passengers. Two of these passengers would sit in the rumble seat, which opened at the back of the car. After an 84 year existence beginning in 1926, Pontiac was discontinued by General Motors in 2010.
