Newbert "Brud" Pierce sold hot dogs in Boothbay Harbor, Maine for 60 years. He commenced this business in 1943 with a pushcart after his return home from service in World War II. Brud was known as the "Hot Dog King of Boothbay Harbor." Brud's "Hot Dog Wagon" is a 1964 Cushman Truckster powered by a two-cylinder, four-stroke gasoline engine with electric start that produces 18 hp. It is also fitted with a three-speed manual transmission including a reverse gear. These trucksters were versatile, also being used for parking enforcement, general maintenance, and light cargo transport.
