Name/Title

Heubach Baby Doll

Entry/Object ID

Description

This is a Heubach baby boy doll. Made after 1910, this doll is dressed in a christening gown, and is made out of bisque (which is an unglazed porcelain). The doll's head is in good condition, but the fingers are chipped, and the legs have thin cracks in them. On the back of the doll's neck, there is the maker's mark for the Heubach company, which is a sunrise with the initials GH (see photo).
