Description

These milk glass shakers have plastic tops and have matching bow and wreath designs on the front. They are unmarked and manufacturer is unknown. Milk glass, or opal glass, was first made in the 16th century. The milky color is the result of adding different chemicals into the glass-making process that creates the opacity of milk glass. Some chemicals that can be used to do this are Titanium Dioxide, Zirconium Dioxide, and Cryolite.
