Description

This Swining Faucet Can was manufactured for Emery Waterhouse and Co. Based on the current company website, "The story of Emery-Waterhouse began in 1842, in Portland, Maine, as a single hardware store. They were one of many that lined Middle Street, known at the time as "Hardware Row." Throughout its 176 years in business, Emery-Waterhouse faced competition from many different companies. First, there was competition from emerging hardware chains. Then came big-box retailers. Despite the competition, Emery-Waterhouse maintained a leading position as an independent hardlines and building materials distributor in the Northeast."
