Description

Ford produced 21,380 Thunderbirds in 1957. These cars were equipped with either a 292 or 312 cubic inch V8 engine. Three different transmissions were available: three-speed manual, three-speed manual automatic overdrive, or three-speed automatic Ford-O-Matic. Compared to the 1956 model, it has a new front bumper and grille, bigger tail fins, and a new trunk. It has a 102" wheelbase. This car can reach a top speed of 121 mph and can go from 0-60 mph in 7.8 seconds. Multiple color options were available, and the color of the museum's 1957 Thunderbird is called Dusk Rose.
