Description

These souvenirs from Florida are salt and pepper shakers with ceramic tops and wooden bases. They each have an intact plastic stopper. They are unmarked as to where they are made, however, a torn sticker in the base of the saltshaker is labeled with "..eign". The ceramic tops each have a different floral pattern. The wooden bases are marked as "S" and "P". The saltshaker has a poem for mothers and the pepper shaker has a poem for dads. The punctuation and capitalization are inaccurate in both. Mother- "God made many beautiful things. Sunsets, flowers, trees, Birds, starlight and loyal friends, And after he made all these he gave earth a gift more fair, more loving and more true of all his gifts the most the most rare a Mother as dear as you." Dad- "Some dads are swell and sure deserve The best. day after day some dads are loved because they have an understanding way Then some dads rate a vote of thanks because of things they've done But dads like you are very few. You're all of these in one"
