Name/Title

1950 Willys Overland Jeepster Phaeton

Description

This 1950 Willys Overland Jeepster Phaeton was part of Willys' Second Series VJ3 model. Some features of this car were either a four or six-cylinder engine, column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, flat fenders, chrome bumpers, and a 104" wheelbase. It also had side curtains instead of roll-up windows. This caused fewer sales than other convertibles at the time because most people wanted roll-up windows. This car had multiple accessories such as a deluxe steering wheel, locking glovebox, cigar lighter, and a continental spare tire. Fewer than 20,000 Jeepsters were made, and production ended in 1950.
