Description

The Chevrolet Independence Series AE was a series of automobiles that Chevrolet introduced in 1931. The sedan model from this series featured four doors, a straight six engine that produces 30 hp, manual three-speed transmission, wire wheels, two side-mounted spare tires, and a 109" wheelbase. Additionally, this sedan introduced a larger, heavier, and more stylish frame. Some mechanical modifications were a new vibration damper, a stouter engine stiffened by additional ribs, and a more durable clutch.
