Name/Title

1937 Packard 1502 Super Eight Phaeton

Description

Six body styles of Model 1502, a part of Packard's 15th series, were produced. Only three phaetons were ever made in this style. This car is one of those three. Only two are left, making this car extremely rare. It has a custom body built by the Rollston Company in New York and can seat up to seven passengers. The leather seats match the Ditzier's Ardsley Green of the exterior with two folding armrests and side pockets on all doors. This car is equipped with an L-head inline eight-cylinder engine that produces 135 hp. Some additional features include three-speed synchromesh transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, leaf spring live hypoid rear axle with four-wheel hydraulic brakes and centri-fuse drums, and a 139" wheelbase.
