Name/Title
1932 Ford Model BBDescription
Some Ford customers converted their Model T cars into trucks as early as 1908. Ford produced Model T trucks from 1917 to 1928, Model A trucks from 1927 to 1932, and Model B trucks through the 1930s. To distinguish their trucks from their passenger cars, Ford named them the Model TT, Model AA and Model BB.
The Model BB truck was usually equipped with a four-cylinder engine, with the option of a V8. However, Ford dropped the four-cylinder engine in 1934 because of poor sales. Additionally, it had a longer wheelbase, reinforced frame, and heavier duty transmissions and axles compared to the typical Model B car. There are removable stakes on the back platform to secure cargo.Motor Vehicle Type
