Name/Title

1899 Engine House

Description

The original 1899 structure was the covered passenger canopy at the Brunswick, ME train station. It was later modified with exterior walls for better protection from the elements. It now serves as the Railway Village's engine house. Take a peek across the tracks from Thorndike station or as you pass by on a train ride and you may see one of our engines sitting inside waiting to take its turn on the rails!
