Description

Handheld wooden plow plane with threaded arms. Labeled on side with manufacturer, "Sandusky Tool Co. Ohio", signature "A.BLAKE" , and number "129".

Plow planes are used to make grooves in wood. The threaded arms or "staves" that move through the body of the plane are used to adjust the fence (attached to the staves). This holds the plane steady and makes the process easier.
