Description

This steam pumper was built by Button & Sons of Waterford, New York. It is operated by three people: an engineer, driver, and coal stoker. It can generate over 60 pounds of steam pressure in 5 minutes, and can send a 2 1/2" stream of water 250 feet into the air. It was restored over a four year period by museum volunteers and the wheels were rebuilt by the Amish.
