1967 Pontiac GTO

Description

1967 was Pontiac’s last year of the first-generation GTO model. The main differences between the 1966 and 1967 models were engine and safety upgrades. With its powerful 400 cubic inch V8 engine, the 1967 model produces 360 hp and can go from 0-60 mph in just 6.5 seconds. Front disc brakes were a new safety feature, replacing four-wheel drum brakes. Customers could choose between three and four-speed transmissions, as well as a three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission. Additionally, three body styles were available: hardtop, convertible, and sports coupe.
