This vintage shaker set is complete with box and instruction sheet. The salt and pepper shakers pop up when the knob is turned to the "on" position. The tv screen is meant to act as a picture frame as well. The instructions state:
"To raise salt and pepper shakers: Turn large knob to right. The rear shaker will rise somewhat higher for convenience in using. To use as a photo holder: Cut photo snapshot to size 15/8"x2" to fit over TV screen. Depress screen gently, and insert one end between white screen and gold frame on side towards knobs. Slide photo in about 1/2 inch, then slide opposite end in other side. Center picture."
