Feature content emphasizes seasonal lifestyle and leisure, including a prominent summer-themed cover and related advertising focused on residential outdoor living, particularly swimming pool construction and design, highlighted through a multi-page feature on Anthony Pools and the growth of the company’s operations and craftsmanship. Community and organizational reporting includes Rotary Club programming, specifically a detailed economic lecture on the distribution of wealth and income delivered to local membership, reflecting civic intellectual engagement and public discourse. Additional content includes animal welfare narratives connected to the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, describing shelter operations, animal care, and regional collaboration with the San Diego Zoo. Regional events coverage includes promotion of the Southern California Expo and Del Mar Fair flower show. The issue is supported by extensive commercial advertising spanning landscaping services, financial institutions, retail goods, and home improvement, reinforcing the economic and residential character of the community.
