Photograph showing an entrance to the first permanent Rancho Santa Fe school on La Granada, designed by Lilian Rice. The exterior view shows stucco walls, tall multi-pane windows, an arched doorway reached by steps, and a clay tile roof supported by exposed wooden members. Landscaped plantings border the building. The school opened in the 1920s, was officially named the Rancho Santa Fe School in 1927, and formed part of a two-building school group on La Granada before a larger school was constructed in 1931.Photograph Details
