Photograph showing the Joers-Ketchum Building at the northwest corner of La Granada and Paseo Delicias in Rancho Santa Fe. The Lilian Rice-designed commercial building was the first two-story building in the village and originally housed a tearoom. The building is partially obscured by trees, with automobiles parked along the street and the word “MERCHANDISE” visible on the exterior. The building is identified as the Joers-Ketchum Building, named for its successive owners. Item information associates the photograph with Bunnell Photo Shop and a date of July 11, 1928; the image is dated circa 1926-1928.
